Three flavonoids, quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucoside (1), quercetin 3-O-α-Darabinoside (2) and kaempferol 3-O-β-D-galactoside (3) were isolated from the methanol extract of the leaves of Annona mucosa Jacq. Their structures were determined by using physical and spectroscopic methods. The characterized compounds showed promising insecticidal activities against Sitophilus zeamais and Prostephanus truncatus, insect pests of stored maize.en_US
